Each session has six components that have youth watch an animated video, sketch and write, listen, and discuss their perspectives. You’ll need a DVD, Leader Guide for each leader, and a Sketch Journal for each participant.
Echo the Story Leader Guide
Contains 12 detailed session plans and step-by-step guidance for each section that includes activity instructions, biblical stories, discussion questions, and supply lists. In no time, leaders transform into expert facilitators that help youth see themselves in God’s story.
Echo the Story Sketch Journal
The Sketch Journal encourages youth to reflect on the biblical narrative and make Bible stories their own. It provides an inviting space for teens to draw, write, and create their own interpretations. Each activity in the Sketch Journal reinforces the story and re-examines it over the course of the session.
Echo the Story DVD
At the start of each session, youth watch a video that includes a group interaction and a fast-paced review of previous sessions’ stories.
